SUN SIYAM IRU FUSHI APPOINTS ASSISTANT PR AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, announces the appointment of Myla Alpaz as Assistant PR and Communications Manager effective from July 12, 2024. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Myla will oversee the resort's public relations and communications activities while further enhancing the brand's presence in the market.
Hailing from the Philippines, Myla holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Philippine Women's University. Before embarking on her hospitality journey, she had a stint in the United Arab Emirates, working for the magazine division of Emirates Neon Group.
Her hospitality career began in 2010 at Kurumba Maldives, followed by a significant tenure at Velassaru Maldives, where she held the roles of Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager and Marketing Communications Manager until 2023.
Most recently, Myla was part of the pre-opening team at Amari Raaya Maldives, where she further expanded her expertise in hospitality communications and pre-opening strategies.
